6.4.4. Removal and installation / replacement of the ABS hydrounit (ABS 8.0, ABS 8.0 CCD)

ATTENTION
Before repair work on the ABS hydrounit or the control unit for the ABS hydrounit it is necessary to read the instruction for repair.

Removal
2 take away consolidation for a tank of a radiator as it is possible further.
1 for the main brake cylinder cast away a protective cover up.
Install KM-558-10 device on a tank for brake fluid.
Unscrew a carving cover 1.
Pour brake fluid to edge.
Screw up by means of KM-558-10.

NOTE
Collect the spilled brake fluid.
|
Weaken brake tubes 2 on the main brake cylinder.
Weaken 2 nuts.
Dismantle a guide for a brake tube 3 from the face panel.
Dismantle the ABS hydrounit.
Dismantle all brake tubes from the hydrounit.
Turn off 6 nuts (arrow).

NOTE
Use a pipe key. To pay attention to compliance of a brake tube.

Insert the socket of a plait of wires 1.
Turn off 2 nuts 2.
Unscrew the hydrounit in the face panel through the holder.
Installation
Mount the ABS hydrounit.
Unscrew the hydrounit in the holder.
Put 2 clamps of 2 10 N · m.
Insert the socket of a plait of wires 1.
Mount all brake tubes in the hydrounit.
Put 6 clamps (shooter) of 16 N · m.

NOTE
Use a pipe key. To pay attention to compliance of a brake tube.

Mount brake tubes 2 on the main brake cylinder.
Put 2 clamps of 16 N · m.
Mount a guide for brake tubes 3 on the face panel.
Remove air from the brake system and check tightness.
1 for the main brake cylinder cast away a protective cover up.
Mount consolidation on a tank of a radiator 2.
When replacing the control unit: program the ABS control unit.
