5.2.4. Check of tips of steering drafts and sealants

Lift the car so that forward wheels were hung out. Tips of steering drafts fasten in nests of levers of the case of half shafts on the right and at the left. Tips are protected from moisture and dust by rubber sealants (covers). Check tips and consolidations for lack of cracks and damages and be convinced of reliability of their landing.

Shake wheels and be convinced of lack of side plays in tips of drafts. Check that tips were reliably fixed in reception nests of levers.

The damaged antisplash cover and tip having a side play needs to be replaced.
